Lucchese Bootmaker to Open at First Street Napa – it’s First California Store

First Street Napa announced today that Lucchese Bootmaker, the Texas-based brand spearheading American Western lifestyle and fashion, will open its first-ever California store at Suite 202 at First Street Napa. The new store is expected to open in the fall of this year.

Founded in 1883 in San Antonio, Texas, Lucchese is widely regarded as one of the finest makers of handcrafted boots and leather goods in the world. Each pair of Lucchese boots is meticulously shaped, stitched, and finished by hand using time-honored techniques passed down through generations of skilled artisans. Over its long history, the brand has outfitted everyone from cavalry officers and working ranchers to presidents, entertainers, and discerning collectors.

“Napa’s culture of craftsmanship, hospitality, and appreciation for heritage aligns naturally with who we are as a brand. We’re honored to bring Lucchese’s first California store to this community.”

Lucchese’s decision to open its first California location in downtown Napa reflects a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, heritage, and authenticity.

The Napa store will feature a curated selection of Lucchese’s signature handcrafted boots, leather goods, accessories, apparel and Western-inspired lifestyle pieces. The space is designed to offer a welcoming, personalized shopping experience that reflects both the brand’s legacy and the character of Napa Valley — a destination known globally for its respect for tradition, quality, and craft.

“Napa’s culture of craftsmanship, hospitality, and appreciation for heritage aligns naturally with who we are as a brand. We’re honored to bring Lucchese’s first California store to this community,” said Angela Hahn, Vice President of Retail Operations at Lucchese. “Downtown Napa has become a place where people come not just to shop, but to experience something meaningful.”

Located within walking distance of Napa’s renowned restaurants, tasting rooms, hotels, and riverfront attractions, First Street Napa continues to evolve as a vibrant gathering place for locals and visitors alike.

“We’re honored to welcome Lucchese to First Street Napa and to the downtown community,” said Todd Zapolski of Zapolski Real Estate. “Lucchese represents the very best of American craftsmanship, and their first California store is a meaningful addition to the character and vitality of downtown Napa. This is exactly the kind of brand that belongs here.”

The opening of Lucchese further reinforces First Street Napa’s vision of curating a thoughtful mix of distinctive brands that complement Napa’s rich cultural and culinary landscape.
